Based the classic work “The Legend of the White Snake,” this explores the different life paths that emerge from pivotal moments in the characters’ past and present. Theutist Hua Pei (長笛演奏家華姵) collaborates with the leading actress of the Guoguang Opera Company, Zhu Anli (國光劇團當家花旦朱安麗), to create the “Qing·Bai”(青·白) USB drive, adapted from the Legend of the White Snake.
The signature on the cover was obtained by specially asking the teacher to sign it during the performance. The cover has a strong sense of design, with the left and right side showcasing contrasting shapes that correspond to the title’s “Qing” (green) and “Bai” (white).
On the back, the two are shown back-to-back, protecting each other. The overall size is manageable with one hand, and inside, there are photos of the two during their recording sessions.
What most is that the USB drive is exceptionally exquisite, featuring a carved image of the Leifeng Pagoda (雷峰塔) inside the transparent crystal. The lid has laser-etched signatures of both individuals on either side.
The lid is so reflective that it even reflects my camera lens!
